Founded Imani Models, helping professionalize Kenya's modelling industry.

2006

Founded the Fashion Programme at WAPI (British Council Kenya)

Launched the Liz Ogumbo fashion brand.

Vine to Soul™ is a unified sensory storytelling system by Liz Ogumbo that connects wine, memoir, and music into a single interconnected narrative universe.

Built as a multi-format intellectual property ecosystem, it translates personal journey and cultural memory into three synchronized expressions: written word, sound, and sensory experience.

The Vine to Soul™ System

1. Liz Ogumbo Wines™ (2018–Present)

A curated collection of five premium wines forming the foundation of the Vine to Soul™ narrative world.

Each wine expresses place, emotion, and lived experience — designed as a sensory entry point into the broader story system.

2. Vine to Soul™ Memoir

A completed literary work exploring resilience, identity, reinvention, and creative purpose.

The memoir serves as the narrative backbone of the Vine to Soul™ universe.

3. Vine to Soul™ Soundtrack (In Production)

An original 11-track musical composition currently in development as the sonic counterpart to the memoir.

Each track is aligned to a chapter of the book, forming a synchronized reading and listening experience.

This work extends Vine to Soul™ beyond text — transforming memory into sound and story into atmosphere.

For years, Fashion Lab Africa provided a platform for industry dialogue, visibility, and knowledge sharing across the African creative sector through radio, interviews, editorial content, and thought leadership. Fashion Lab Africa became one of Africa's earliest fashion-business media platforms, connecting voices from across the continent and the diaspora.

Today, that foundation is evolving into Fashion Lab Global™.
