Liz Ogumbo is an acclaimed African World-jazz-fusion artist known for her ‘KenSoul;’ Her music is a rich tapestry of influences, inspired by jazz, taraab, chakacha, blues, reggae, and hip hop, While her distinctive sound, blends various genres and languages, including Luo, Swahili, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

 

Liz has gained recognition for gracing prestigious music stages worldwide, including IOMMA, HIFA, Lake Of Stars, and Delicious Festival.

 

She has released acclaimed albums KenSoul (2010) and KenSoul: The Lotus Chapter (2018), with 8 single hits to follow and has acted in the award-winning South African film "Angeliena."

 

Honoured as a Titan of Africa in Dubai in 2022, Liz has also built additional brands in music, fashion, and wine, representing Africa's creative industry growth globally.

Through her philanthropic efforts, a percentage of her proceeds support Kamatana Foundation, which focuses on developing the young African creative industry.
