Our Maro Shiraz derives its name from Liz Ogumbo’s soundtrack, Maro Pamore from her debut album KenSoul. This wine has a deep, dark red colour with aromas of plums and red berry fruitcake on the nose along with hints of nutmeg.

Like the spicy character of ‘Maro’ (translated from Luo to English to mean to mother-in-law), Our soft-yet complex ‘Maro’ Shiraz will awaken your taste buds and undertones of chocolate and tobacco leaf will linger for a while and slowly fade away, leaving your palate satisfied.
The palate is dense, very well rounded and supported with a smooth, velvety tannin structure along with flavours of mulberry, blackberry fruit and vanilla.

Our ‘Already There’ Pinotage derives its name from Liz Ogumbo’s Ft Sxeeps soundtrack, ‘Already There.’ This full-bodied elegant dark ruby red Pinotage with enticing flavours, smokiness and hints of red fruit carries a bouquet of red fruit with smoky and savoury notes.

As our way to celebrate South Africa through it’s musical collaboration from this soundtrack and its national grape, ‘Pinotage,’ this wine has been crafted by a group of South African winemakers and carries a great balance between fruit and acid, resulting in an elegant and sophisticated palate through its tamed tannins. Our Ubuntu blend of 86% Shiraz,10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Pinotage derives its name from Liz Ogumbo’s soundtrack, Ubuntu from her debut album KenSoul. Ubuntu is an expression used to embody the spirit of brotherhood/sisterhood through unity in our human existence. (also referred to as ‘Undugu’ within the Swahili-speaking East African community)
